Acoustic Research AWD205 2.4 Ghz Wireless Headphones: A ...

Acoustic Research AWD205 2.4 Ghz Wireless HeadphonesThe only downside to Acoustic Research?s AWD205 2.4 Ghz Wireless Headphones?is that the base has to be plugged in. The AWD205 headphones are light and features a generously long 3.5 mm plug for the music source. The range is 150 feet, and not an exaggeration. The phones are light and generously padded for their size. I have used smaller, more portable phones and these are far superior in performance. The sound and quality is impressive. Retailing for $99.00, they can be found for less than that. Keep in mind the drivers in smaller phones just can?t deliver like these.

If heavy music sounds distorted on your headphones, these will take on the toughest of music you can throw at them. It comes with rechargable batteries for the headphones, and can perform the six hours as claimed quite nicely. Wireless headphones have to be tried to appreciate how much better moving around is. If you listen to music on a regular basis, you will get a lot of bang for the buck here.

Not only do inferior quality headphone have poor performance, but many are mono. If it sounds like a good deal, there is a strong likelihood the sound quality they deliver will be chintzy as well. The choice is up to the individual consumer, but my choice is Acoustic Research?s AWD 205 Wireless Headphones. Four and a half stars. Also available for wireless enthusiasts ? wireless speakers. If you trip on wires a lot you might want to give these a try. Available in many different models.
