ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. (Feb. 2012) ? Englander Fischer announces the addition of Holly Ghelfi as associate lawyer and member of the firm?s real estate and finance practice. Ghelfi practices in the area of commercial transactions with an emphasis on retail and office leasing, commercial development, commercial financing, acquisitions and dispositions.
Prior to joining Englander Fischer, Ghelfi worked at Holland & Knight, LLP in its commercial real estate and corporate groups. While there, she practiced?corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, corporate governance matters and securities regulation compliance.?Previously, Ghelfi worked in financial advisory services at both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.

Ghelfi is a graduate of Stetson University College of Law, where she worked as an editor of the Stetson Law Review and served as a member of Stetson?s Moot Court Board. As a law student, Ghelfi interned for the?Honorable Mary S. Scriven, United States Magistrate Judge?at?Middle District of Florida?and for the U.S. Attorney?s office for the Middle District of Florida Appellate Division. Upon graduation, Ghelfi was presented with the dean?s award for extraordinary service to the university.
Ghelfi is an active member?of the Real Property and Trusts section of the Florida Bar Association, Commercial Real Estate Women, Leadership St. Pete?s Class of 2012 and?the?St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, including the Public Policy Committee, the Young Professionals? Council and the Pier Redevelopment Task Force.?Ghelfi?serves on the board of trustees of Great Explorations Children?s Museum and volunteers as a legal advocate for the Domestic Violence Assistance Project on behalf of Bay Area Legal Services.
