Reviews Conventional or government (FHA/VA) residential mortgage loan requests.

Analyzes financial information and property information for purchase money transactions to ensure that requests meet established guidelines and laws.

Requests additional information as necessary to support requests.

Approves or declines loan requests within authority limits.

Documents all conditions of approval.

Documents all reasons for declination.

Inputs all information to online tracking system.

Communicates with internal staff as required regarding decisions.

NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: Salary is depending on experience

A minimum of 5 years experience as an Underwriter of Conventional mortgage loans.

Experience with VA/FHA a plus.

Proficient with online systems, i.e. DataTrac, InTrac, Point, Encompass

DE and SAR designations a plus
